Longbow and Barebow Classifications
In 2008, we introduced Classification Tables for Junior archers in Longbow and Barebow. Because we had not had sufficient data from which to construct full tables across all the age groups, we decided simply to have one table for all groups. This has meant that, for the younger groups, attaining the higher levels has been nigh impossible. Because of this, we are now inviting archers to submit their scores for a possible revision of these tables.
Please could you send as many outdoor scores as possible recorded by Junior Archers shooting Longbow and Barebow to the Chairman of the Junior Committee by December 1st. It is important that we have a full range of scores, so that we can get a true feel for the whole range of archers, so please do not feel that "poor" scores should not be submitted.
Scores can be submitted in any format. It would be easier, but not necessary, if they were in spreadsheet form. For each score, please give:- - Bow style
- Round
- Score
- Date
- Sex
- Age (at date of shooting)
It must be stressed that if insufficient data is received again, we will not be able to revise the tables in place. And that this applies to Junior archers only.
