Coaching Structure
Archery coaching in the UK is organised at a county, regional, home country and national level. Eight regional archery societies are sub divided into counties whereby appointed Regional Coaching Organisers (RCO), Regional Coaching Committees, County Coaching Organisers (CCO) and County Coaching Committees are responsible for supporting coaches and coach education.
National Organisation

The management of the GNAS Coaching Organisation is centrally controlled by the National Coaching Committee (NCC) which is made up of elected volunteers.
The NCC members are:

Governing Body Representation
Following a nomination and voting process the Governing Body representatives of the Coaching Advisory Group were announced at the 3rd UK Coaching Summit.
The Governing Body representatives are:
- Anne Baker (England Hockey)
- Gary Henderson (Rugby Football Union)
- John Mills (British Cycling)
- Liza Baillie (Scottish Squash)
- Spencer Moore (British Swimming)
- Tim Lumb (England and Wales Cricket Board)
- Vinny Webb (Rugby Football League)
The role of the Coaching Advisory Group is to represent all Governing Bodies of Sport (GBs) on a UK-wide basis and work in partnership with sports coach UK to advise upon the design, development and implementation of technical developments, philosophy, systems, services programmes affecting the delivery of coaching and coach education within the UK Coaching Framework. The group will provide a two-way communication flow between the Governing Body forum and the Steering Board.
Ollie Holt will attend coaching development discussion forums on behalf of archery. These discussion forums will allow GBs to feedback to the Coaching Advisory Group. Should a home nation governing body or regional coaching representative wish to attend a discussion forum, please contact Ollie Holt.
