We are planning to communicate to clubs on a monthly basis.  If you are the secretary of a club, can you please ensure that we have an up to date e-mail address for your club.  This will ensure that you do not miss out on any important information. Please e-mail your updates. 

Child Protection Documents

Archery GB is pleased to announce that it has achieved the Intermediate stage of the Standards for Child Protection and is currently working on the Advanced Standards.   Archery GB is committed to ensure that children, young people and vulnerable adults enjoy archery in a safe environment in which they are protected from any form of poor practice or abuse.  The Archery GB Policy for Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults works to ensure that good practice is followed and to raise awareness for everyone involved in archery. Further child protection documents may be found on the Documents section and information on Child Protection courses is available from Sports Coach UK  Information on the Vetting and Barring Scheme is available from Independent Safeguarding Authority

Important Updates 

FITA Rule Changes 2010 including the Olympic Round -  We are aware of impending changes to FITA Rules to come into effect in April 2010, including changes to the Olympic Round.   

Request for Nominations for the 2010 AGM

This is the information which appeared in the Autumn issue of Archery UK (see page 35).  Since this has been printed the position of Director of Finance & General Purposes has become vacant.  Please see the Terms of Reference and nominations forms for further information on each position and their respective closing dates.
